Senior U.S official to visit Nepal

Deputy Secretary of State for the Management and Resources Richard R. Verma-led delegation will visit Nepal on August 16 and India from August 17-23 to advance and support a prosperous, secure, and resilient future in both countries, State Department said in a press note.

In Nepal, the delegation will meet with senior government officials, development professionals, and business leaders to discuss the shared priorities in economic development, women’s empowerment, energy and people-to-people ties, said the statement.
