Nepal lifts ban on TikTok

The Nepal government has removed the ban on TikTok. A cabinet meeting on August 22 took this decision. The erstwhile government led by Pushpa Kamal Dahal had banned the operation of the social media app stating that it affected social harmony. According to a government minister, they have told TikTok to address all the concerns relating to its regulation.
