I cannot resolve map row, EPG : Sharma

Shankar Sharma, proposed Nepal’s Ambassador to India, has said that the issue of the map row and report prepared by the Eminent Persons’ Group should be settled through the top political leadership.
The previous government led by Pushpa Kamal Dahal had decided to call back Sharma as Nepali envoy to New Delhi but the current government has decided to re-appoint him. Sharma made such a remark while speaking in the Parliamentary Hearing meeting held on September 1.

He said: “The issue of EPG and boundary has reached the above the Ambassador’s position.” India has not shown any interest in discussing those issues. When Foreign Minister Arzu Rana Deuba was in New Delhi last month, there were no discussions about those issues.
