Nepal’s education minister steps down

Nepal’s Minister for Education, Science and Technology Bidya Bhattarai has resigned following her dispute with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli regarding the demands put forth by teachers.

Nepal’s secondary school-teachers are protesting in Kathmandu since three weeks with a list of demands. The talks between government and teachers are not producing any concrete result.
