Nepal, China discuss strategic partnership

Liu Jinsong, Director-General of the Department of Asian Affairs of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, met Nepal’s Ambassador to Beijing Krishna Prasad Oli to discuss the bilateral issues.

Both sides agreed to take the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Nepal this year as an opportunity to speed up the implementation of the important common understandings reached between the leaders of the two countries, says China Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Further two sides agreed to deepen exchanges and cooperation in various fields, and push forward the continuous growth of the China-Nepal strategic partnership of cooperation featuring ever-lasting friendship for development and prosperity, says the statement.
